Fortinet SSO Terminal Server Agent (FSSO TS Agent) is a component of Fortinet’s Single Sign-On solution designed for multi-user Windows Remote Desktop Services and Citrix environments. It identifies each user session on a shared terminal server and maps users to unique source ports, allowing FortiGate firewalls and FortiAuthenticator to apply accurate, identity-based policies even when multiple users share the same IP address. The agent forwards user-to-session/IP/port information to the Fortinet FSSO Collector Agent (or directly to FortiGate, depending on deployment), enabling seamless, transparent authentication without interrupting end users.
